About us
Waddell’s Gallery has been part of the Shreveport community since 1970, known for its long-standing presence on Ellerbe Road as a trusted destination for custom framing. After closing that location in 2021, the gallery reopened in 2022 at 1200 Marshall Street under new ownership, with a full renovation that led to its grand reopening in May 2024. Today, Waddell’s carries forward its framing tradition while expanding into a thoughtfully curated fine art gallery.
Now, the space features work from 15 local and out-of-state artists across a range of mediums, alongside one of the area’s largest selections of custom framing- still led by a framer who has been part of Waddell’s for nearly 20 years. With a constantly refreshed selection of artwork and ongoing community events, the gallery continues to grow as an active part of Shreveport’s art scene.
Our custom framing process

Bring us your piece and let us take a look! If you already know what style you’re going for, we can help you achieve it. If you’re not sure what direction to go, we’ll pull options that we think will look best! We can pull as many frame samples as you’d like. No appointment necessary!

Don’t worry, we hate surprises too. Our framer will write up an estimate for the framing set up that you choose! We can give you multiple set up options to fit your budget while still achieving the look you want. We will also give you a turnaround time, which varies on which materials you choose.

The best part! We will call you as soon as your piece is ready. When you arrive, we will show you your piece to make sure you’re completely happy with it! We will also send you with complimentary hangers so you can install your piece right away.
